荷兰后摇名团ALL SHALL BE WELL中国巡演

 

ALL SHALL BE WELL介绍

哈勒姆（Haarlem），荷兰最古老的小城之一，以盛产郁金香而闻名，大仲马的《黑色郁金香》中多次提及这座城市。而今天我们要向大家介绍来自哈勒姆的一支后摇乐队——ALL SHALL BE WELL。

 

ALL SHALL BE WELL（以下简称ASBW）的乐队全名为“and all shall be well and all manner of things shall be well”，乐队成立于2009年，并先后发表了两张专辑，分别是2011年的《ROODBLAUW》 和2014年的《BLAUWGEEL》。这两张唱片业奠定了ASBW在欧洲后摇领域中的地位，他们的巡演足迹也遍布欧洲各地。

 

ASBW的每一首歌的歌名都特别长，比如《There Will Always Be At Least a Thousand Things You Don't Know.》，再比如《Mothers, Tell Your Daughters Our Music Is All Awful Noise and We're Just a Bunch of No-Goods》。以至于有国内的乐迷调侃道：“ 这是不是最牛逼的后摇乐队我不知道，但是这一定是每首歌名字最长的后摇乐队。”。

 

2016年12月，ASBW将应清汤音乐的邀请，首次来华巡演。

Biography

 

All Shall Be Well, from Haarlem (the Netherlands), play instrumental, cinematic music. They build on themes, thresh out their melodies and look for unsuspected harmonies. Their music is highly associative; they liken their music to stories rather than songs.

 

After their debut record ROODBLAUW (2011) and sophomore album BLAUWGEEL (2014), the band’s current project revolves around interpreting the works of classical composers such as Ludwig von Beethoven and Edvard Grieg and remaking them into new arrangements and compositions fit for a band line-up with guitars, drums and bass.

 

All Shall Be Well have taken their music across many European borders, including Germany, Denmark, Norway, Italy and Belgium. At live performances their image projections visualise their music, adding a deeper layer to their stories.

 

The band sees transparency as a great virtue; they release all their music through the Creative Commons, making it accessible for all to experience, share and create endless renditions.
