ONE LOVE – REGGAE, SEGA and SEGGAE LIVE MUSIC WITH THE BAND NOUKILLA - Friday 30th of September at the Pearl

 

Come and enjoy a night of original and cover music as a tribute to reggae music king Bob Marley,  Steel Pulse, Morgan heritage, Third world…with the veteran band from Mauritius, Noukilla and a ti’punch!

 

Noukilla are five friends from the Island of Mauritius, who came to Shanghai/China in 2005.

Their unconditional love for music led to the birth of Noukilla (meaning ‘Here we are!’) in 2010,

bringing original songs and their own style of Sega/Seggae-Fusion to the fans, who find words

like “sunny, exotic, colorful, warm, happy, energetic, good mood” to describe the band.

 

Noukilla have a very strong stage presence and the gift to put smiles in people’s faces. The mixture of their different ethnicities and backgrounds (African/ Indian/British/ French) reflects in their music with lyrics in Creole, French and English.

 繁忙劳碌的一周就要结束了，快乐的周末从这里开始！相信我们，Reggae音乐和小潘趣酒能让你忘却一切的烦恼！本周五，来自毛里求斯的老牌雷鬼乐队Noukilla将在The Pearl为大家带来ONE LOVE雷鬼（Reggae）之夜！他们将现场演绎雷鬼乐歌王鲍勃·马利（Bob Marley)及经典Roots Reggae乐队Steel Pulse、Morgan heritage、Third World等耳熟能详的乐曲，并将为大家献上他们的原创的歌曲。

Noukilla的成员均来自毛里求斯岛，2005年5个好朋友一起来到了上海，他们对音乐无条件的爱让他们在2010年终于组成了Noukilla乐队（意为“我们到了！”）。他们的音乐风格不仅有原汁原味的毛里求斯音乐Sega，风靡东印度洋马斯克林群岛的Seggae，更融入了他们自己的创作，形成了他们独特的Seggae-Fusion风格：阳光，充满异国情调，多彩，温暖，愉悦，充满活力，好心情…他们的粉丝们常用这些词汇来形容他们。

 Noukilla最擅长的就是用台上的表演感染台下的你，用魔力的音乐让你绽放笑容。乐队成员来自不同的民族的背景（非洲／印度／英国／法国），这在他们歌词里也充分的体现了出来，美洲殖民地克里奥尔语、法语和英语混搭。
