About The Exhibition
由JOYZHUANG策划公关原创的内容装置影像艺术展 — 重命名Reintroduction(上海站 第二期)。
Reintroduction (SHANGHAI Phase II) — An original content installments & Digital Art Exhibition created & developed by JOYZHUANG Strategic Branding & Public Relationship Agency.
This is an exhibition that focuses on the substance rather than exteriority, studies and explores human nature’s revolution, retrospection, reflection, and liberation.
This exhibition was born out of the contrast of following five universal negative social norms: oppression, superficiality, dependency, destruction, ignorance, and their contrasting presence: freedom, authenticity, self-reliant, healing, self-recognition. The negative concept was each extracted from an existing social problem: domestic violence, low self-esteem, family oppression, incapability, or the oppression from the social norm. We then converted the above social dilemmas into installments, videos, behavioral art, and sound to lead the viewers through an interactive experience, to explore what’s behind the art, to make connection, and to compose their own “re-definition”.
The process of discovering the inner (implicit) negative aspects and converting them into positivity is the goal of this exhibition. In this gallery, we will have the opportunity to experience the transformation from oppression to freedom. As we believe, no viewer should be limited by gender, age, or social status; the chance to reintroduce and redefine is equal to everyone.
