《埃菲尔铁塔上的新郎新娘》是法国诗人让·科克托的超现实狂想。

 

在巴黎之巅，诗人俄尔普斯为街头带回的一匹马而着迷，终日倾听马语，吟诵着“欧律狄刻将从地狱归来”的咒语。新娘欧律狄刻在嫉妒中策划毒杀，却误饮毒酒，坠入冥界。

 

借助一副死神的手套，俄尔普斯穿越镜面，从光怪陆离的地狱游行中夺回爱人。死神留下唯 一的禁忌：不得凝视。

 

铁塔的婚礼，逐渐沦为一场失控的盛宴。当二人四目相对，欧律狄刻再次消散。没有结局，只有碎片——而所有谜底，藏在她那袭空荡的婚纱之下。

 

" Les Mariés de la tour Eiffel" is a surreal fantasy by the French poet Jean Cocteau.

 

At the summit of Paris, the poet Orpheus becomes obsessed with a horse he brought from the streets, spending his days listening to the horse and chanting the incantation, "Eurydice will return from hell." In a fit of jealousy, the bride Eurydice plots to poison the horse but mistakenly drinks the poison herself, descending into the underworld.

 

With the help of a pair of Death's gloves, Orpheus passes through the mirror and retrieves his beloved from the phantasmagoric parade of the underworld. Death leaves one sole prohibition: he must not gaze upon her.

 

The wedding on the Eiffel Tower descends into a chaotic feast. When their eyes finally meet, Eurydice vanishes once more. There is no conclusion, only fragments—and all the answers lie beneath the hollow expanse of her wedding gown.
