星路历程：

1944年9月25日出生的麦克-道格拉斯，其父是鼎鼎大名的库克-道格拉斯。父亲在好莱坞的赫赫威名对年轻的麦克来说不啻是一个很沉重的包袱。不过，虽然生长在父亲巨大的身影下，但麦克还是很努力地闯出了属于自己的一片天地。他甚至不惜拒演类似父亲形象的勇者角色，以塑造自己的银幕形象。

从1969年推出第一部电影后，麦克在好莱坞的霸主地位可以说是纵横影坛数十年而不倒。1975年影片《飞越疯人院》(One Flew Over the Cuckoo s Nest)更是让他出尽风头。这部描写精神病院的影片不仅为他的制片事业谱写了辉煌的一页，而且也获得了该年度奥斯卡最佳影片、导演、男女主角及剧本等五项大奖，并有1.8亿多美元的票房纪录。

“我对有缺点的人们非常有兴趣”

在80年代，麦克主演了一系列使他的表演风格成型的影片，如《绿宝石》、《尼罗河宝石》、《华尔街》、《致命的诱惑》以及《玫瑰战争》等。其中，影片《致命的诱惑》里的角色是他最钟情的，这样的角色特征几乎已成为麦克的基本角色性格模式。对此，他表示：“我对有缺点的人们非常有兴趣，他们的黑暗面、堕落的人性都是我想去扮演的原因，我对人类原始的真实丑陋面特别关心。”在他的最新影片《完美的谋杀》中，我们也可以看到他的这种表演特点。

老当益壮的煽动性

九十年代，麦克仍继续惊世骇俗，推出的电影如《本能》、《桃色机密》等，无一不是当时的热门话题。这次与葛妮丝-佩特洛合作的影片《完美的谋杀》也是如此，此片乃是影片《电话情杀案》(Dial For Murder)的重拍之作。

影片《完美的谋杀》描述一个快破产的丈夫发现富裕而美丽的妻子有外遇时，决定雇用妻子的情人把她解决掉。这位丈夫设计了一个自认为天衣无缝的完美谋杀计划，岂知天算不如人算，剧情因此峰回路转，悬疑层起。麦克在片中饰演阴险狠毒的丈夫，无论是眼神、肢体动作或是说话的语调都让人感到阵阵寒意。也许正因为他这种老当益壮的煽动性，才使他的演艺事业如此成功。

2000年迈克尔·道格拉斯与凯瑟琳·泽塔-琼斯的婚礼耗资数百万英镑，在纽约最高级的一家酒店举行，吸引了无数名流到场道贺。
