莎士比亚经典悲剧《奥赛罗》在这版“震撼人心、群星荟萃的制作”中激情重燃，全员的精彩演绎让观众跟随情感过山车，体验在嫉妒、谎言与毒药之下，美好的爱与生命如何被绞杀。

 

该版由托尼奖得主汤姆·莫里斯（Tom Morris）执导，PJ·哈维作曲，录制于伦敦干草市场剧院演出现场。曾凭借《国土安全》《血钻》为观众所熟知的大卫·哈伍德（David Harewood）时隔30年再度出演奥赛罗，深沉淬炼出了这一角色背后的复杂人性；奥利弗奖得主托比·琼斯（Toby Jones）则塑造了一个狡黠恶毒的伊阿古，结尾处苔丝狄蒙娜哀叹其所遭遇的厌女症，提醒我们这部莎剧的主题不仅关乎种族，也同样关乎性别。

 

作为莎士比亚经典悲剧，《奥赛罗》将权力、愤怒与欲望的深渊展露无遗：受人尊敬的摩尔人将军奥赛罗迎娶了年轻的苔丝狄蒙娜，他的旗官伊阿古因奥赛罗提拔了凯西奥而倍感不平，于是从中挑拨，诬陷凯西奥和苔丝狄蒙娜有染，奥赛罗心中的嫉妒之火最终点燃了悲剧……
