作为诺贝尔文学奖得主、美国著名剧作家尤金·奥尼尔的巅峰之作，《进入黑夜的漫长旅程》也是一部广为人知的自传体杰作，大胆直面一个家庭的精神困境：父亲詹姆斯·泰隆是成名已久的戏剧演员，却深陷于未实现的艺术理想；母亲玛丽抱恙在身、心病难医；长子杰米酗酒放纵、满怀怨恨；小儿子埃德蒙体弱多病、心思敏感。每个人都有伤害对方的天赋，却又难以摆脱对彼此的依赖，只能无望地陷入一次次争吵与和解的循环往复中。

In his striking new staging of Eugene O’Neill’s Long Day’s Journey Into Night, director Timofey Kulyabin and writer Roman Dolzhanskiy place the Tyrones in a solitary luxury hotel room where celebrated author Edmund Tyrone confronts the ghosts of his past and the burden of his fame in a night that stretches into endless regret. Stripped of domestic comfort, O’Neill’s family drama unfolds as an intense study of addiction, longing, and impossible love, with four lost souls seeking connection amid the wreckage of memory.

Timofey Kulyabin earned world recognition for productions staged in Russia, including the groundbreaking sign-language staging of Three Sisters, and also directed provocative operas. Now he continues to create internationally acclaimed productions marked by his incisive visual style, psychological depth, and fearless reimaginings of dramatic masterpieces.
